The Government of Quebec is strengthening its commitment to the energy transition with major investments announced in Budget 2026–27. Two flagship programmes are at the heart of this strategy: LogisVert and Renoclimate

LogisVert is a financial aid program led by Hydro-Québec aimed at improving the energy efficiency of Quebec homes. In 2026, this program is enhanced with $158.9 million over four years, bringing total aid to $1 billion. It allows owners to obtain subsidies for the installation of heat pumps, the improvement of insulation, the replacement of inefficient heating systems, and more.
Renoclimate – Adaptation is a new initiative with $425 million over five yearsto help households adapt their homes to the impacts of climate change. This includes ventilation, drainage, infiltration protection and thermal resilience.
These measures are part of the Green economy plan 2030, of which part 2026–31 provides $8.2 billion investment. Target: Reduce GHG emissions, accelerate energy transition and support households in their sustainable renovation projects.
For 2025 only, 4% of Quebec population could benefit from this aid. The amounts allocated are 6 times higher that Hydro-Québec paid in 2023. This is an unprecedented opportunity to improve comfort, reduce costs and contribute to the fight against climate change.
